We are on an exciting journey within e-Health and need to strengthen our team with an Backend Developer who shares our vision of care, free from administration. The development of Webdoc-X began in the spring of 2021 and has a clear mission to become a complete record system for healthcare providers in Europe. Currently, the product has users in the UK, France and Denmark with a plan to be present throughout Europe in the future. 

About the role
As a Backend Developer with us, you will work with the new development of our web-based journal system Webdoc-X, a product that contributes to more efficient and safer healthcare. You will mainly program in Kotlin (Java-based) and work with the development of cloud-based products and systems. We are using the latest technologies. Since patient safety is central to our products and we therefore handle very sensitive data, you need to value meeting requirements for high quality and operational reliability.

The development work is largely team-based, based on an agile way of working, we are looking for you who like cooperation with others and actively want to contribute to achieving common goals. Our goals are in line with our vision of a healthcare service free from administration.

Your profile
We believe you have a few years of work experience as a Kotlin or Java developer. It is not a requirement, but can be an advantage if you have experience working with development in larger systems. However, we are convinced that experience can to some extent be achieved by curiosity and willingness to learn. Curiosity, quality, innovation, commitment and honesty are qualities that distinguish Carasent Sweden's organization and culture, therefore we believe that this is reflected in you.

Key experience:

• Experience with Kotlin or Java
• Experience with Maven, Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with and interest in agile processes and methods
• Swedish or English language skills

Nice to have: 

• Experience with medical devices
• Experience with Bitbucket and Jira
