Senior DevOps Engineer
Automate, scale, and secure the infrastructure behind Webdoc. Bring your Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes skills to speed up how great software reaches caregivers.
About the position
We need an experienced DevOps Engineer who can help bring our product to the next level by making our deployment and release processes faster, safer, and more reliable.
We have a great product (Webdoc) with many happy customers (800+), a great support organization (free support for all customers), a great product management team (lots of hands-on experience and domain knowledge), and a great development department (five teams including infrastructure).
We need a skilled DevOps Engineer to be part of our Infrastructure team who can bridge development and operations through strong technical knowledge, automation expertise, and close collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.
Our product helps caregivers in the private healthcare sector work efficiently with their administration, and we integrate with many actors such as Inera, E-hälsomyndigheten, and several private actors. Experience working within healthcare, compliance, or highly regulated environments is valuable to us.
In this role, you will develop and maintain automation scripts and configurations using tools such as Ansible and Terraform, working with infrastructure as code to make system setup efficient, repeatable, and reliable.
You will manage our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring smooth operation and scalability as we grow our microservices-based architecture, and you'll work on container orchestration to keep our systems available and secure.
Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines will be a core part of the role, streamlining code testing, deployment, and environment management so that changes move from commit to production quickly and safely.
You will work closely with developers, QA, security, and operations teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in our deployment workflows, and to troubleshoot any deployment or environment issues that come up along the way.
Monitoring, logging, and alerting are important parts of the role too. You'll implement and manage these solutions to keep our systems stable and performant across environments, monitor uptime and capacity, and take proactive measures to mitigate risk before it becomes a problem.
Security is something we all share responsibility for, and as a DevOps Engineer you'll help ensure security best practices are followed, implementing infrastructure security policies and supporting regular security assessments.
You will actively participate in incident resolution and post-mortem reviews, contributing to root cause analysis and helping us prevent similar issues from happening again. Documenting automation processes, infrastructure designs, and operational procedures along the way will help the whole team move faster.
We believe you have strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible for configuration management and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, along with a deep understanding of containerization and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and proficiency with cloud platforms and their associated services.
You're comfortable with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or ArgoCD, and you have experience scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and system management. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog is a plus, as is experience with infrastructure security best practices.
You have a problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, and you're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you're managing multiple projects at once. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work round out your profile.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (Swedish and English) are important in this role, as you will collaborate across teams and document your work clearly for both technical and non-technical colleagues. We do not offer relocation for this position.
We spend 2–5 days a week at the office depending on what's needed.
We have a great benefits package.
Are you up for the challenge?
